Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Toledo, OH)

Silverline Cobalt Auto Group operates automotive service and parts businesses around Toledo. We are hiring an Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. You would join a large organisation of about 396 people based in Toledo. What you will do • Track costs around supplier deliveries against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Toledo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
