Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Toledo, OH)

Cedar Ivory Telecom is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for outage reports, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We invest in training. What you will do • Track costs around service installations against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to outage reports, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Toledo. • We reply to every applicant.
