Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Toledo, OH)

Redstone Kestrel Financial is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for loan applications, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Toledo. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to loan applications, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with loan applications. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Toledo. • We reply to every applicant.
