Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Toledo, OH)

Rivermark Granite Staffing Group connects candidates and employers across the Toledo region. We are hiring an Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. Recruiters here keep in touch with people long after placement. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with candidate screening. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Toledo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
