Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Toledo, OH)

Nova Ridge Property Management is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for lease renewals, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around resident events against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to lease renewals, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with lease renewals. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Toledo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
