Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Tampa, FL)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Kestrel Markets Group and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be revenue reconciliation. Managers started on the floor. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to store inventory, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around promotions against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Tampa, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
