Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Tampa, FL)

Silverline Field Markets serves neighbourhoods around Tampa with fresh food and everyday goods. We are hiring an Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to pricing, and clear open items. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around store inventory against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Tampa, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
