Accountant - revenue reconciliation (St. Louis, MO)

Foxglove Ashton Banking Services is a community-focused bank in St. Louis serving households and small businesses. We are hiring an Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. Most people here started in a branch and stayed. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around fraud alerts against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to card disputes, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with card disputes. • Familiarity with audit requirements.
