Accountant - revenue reconciliation (St. Louis, MO)

Foxglove Bright Staffing Group connects candidates and employers across the St. Louis region. We are hiring an Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. Speed and follow-up matter. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around client orders against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to temp assignments, and clear open items. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with temp assignments. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in St. Louis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
