Accountant - revenue reconciliation (St. Louis, MO)

Greenridge Vale Press prints books, catalogues and packaging from its St. Louis plant. We are hiring an Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. We like people who notice details. What you will do • Track costs around print quotes against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to bindery work, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Experience with bindery work. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in St. Louis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
