Accountant - revenue reconciliation (St. Louis, MO)

We are growing our team at Silverline Rowan Inspection Services and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be revenue reconciliation. Training and certification are paid for. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to scheduling, and clear open items. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with scheduling. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in St. Louis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
