Accountant - revenue reconciliation (St. Louis, MO)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Fox Community Partners Group and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be revenue reconciliation. We are small enough to know everyone's name. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around grant reporting against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with benefits enrolment. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in St. Louis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
