Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Spokane, WA)

Stonegate Lakeside Environmental Services serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Spokane. We are hiring an Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around service complaints against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Spokane. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
