Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Seattle, WA)

Rivermark Keystone Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Seattle. We are hiring an Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Seattle. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around dock schedules against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to customer tracking, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with customer tracking.
