Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Seattle, WA)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Maple Manufacturing Group and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be revenue reconciliation. You would join a small organisation of about 14 people based in Seattle. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to scrap and rework, and clear open items. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around tooling against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with scrap and rework. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Seattle, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
