Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Savannah, GA)

Rivermark Fox Learning Group is an education provider in Savannah serving students and families. We are hiring an Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around learning materials against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with student accounts. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Savannah. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
