Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Savannah, GA)

We are growing our team at Lumen Junction Financial and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be revenue reconciliation. Teams collaborate across risk, service and technology. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to loan applications, and clear open items. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around account servicing against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with loan applications. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Savannah. • We reply to every applicant.
