Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Savannah, GA)

Rivermark Linden Banking Services is a community-focused bank in Savannah serving households and small businesses. We are hiring an Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. We keep decisions close to customers and expect people to explain things plainly. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to card disputes, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with card disputes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Savannah. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
