Accountant - revenue reconciliation (San Jose, CA)

Lumen Juniper Banking Services is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for deposit accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Most people here started in a branch and stayed. What you will do • Track costs around card disputes against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to deposit accounts, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with deposit accounts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
