Accountant - revenue reconciliation (San Jose, CA)

Harborlight Hollow Farms is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for seasonal crews, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Seasons are busy and the rest of the year is for planning. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around cold storage against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to seasonal crews, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with seasonal crews.
