Accountant - revenue reconciliation (San Jose, CA)

Westbrook Field Staffing is a San Jose staffing firm for warehouse, office and healthcare roles, and we need an Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to onboarding, and clear open items. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with onboarding. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in San Jose, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
