Accountant - revenue reconciliation (San Diego, CA)

Redstone Yarrow Hospitality runs guest-focused properties across the San Diego area. We are hiring an Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. We work weekends and holidays and we make it fun. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around housekeeping schedules against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to guest bookings, and clear open items. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Experience with guest bookings. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in San Diego. • We reply to every applicant.
