Accountant - revenue reconciliation (San Diego, CA)

Nova Thistle Auto Group is a San Diego company supplying vehicle parts and service. We are hiring an Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to service appointments, and clear open items. • Track costs around supplier deliveries against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Experience with service appointments. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in San Diego, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
