Accountant - revenue reconciliation (San Antonio, TX)

Redstone Pike Auto Group is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for service appointments, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 197 people based in San Antonio. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around vehicle inspections against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to service appointments, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with service appointments. • A degree or certificate in accounting.
