Accountant - revenue reconciliation (San Antonio, TX)

Ironwood Ashton Hospitality Group operates hotels and event venues around San Antonio, and we need an Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. You would join a small organisation of about 114 people based in San Antonio. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to housekeeping schedules, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around supplier orders against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with housekeeping schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in San Antonio, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
