Accountant - revenue reconciliation (San Antonio, TX)

Greenridge Nest Staffing Partners places workers with employers around San Antonio. We are hiring an Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. We are in the people business and act like it. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around temp assignments against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to retention, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with retention.
