Accountant - revenue reconciliation (San Antonio, TX)

Highbridge Quarry Care Services provides in-home and community support in San Antonio, and we need an Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. The work is personal and so is the culture. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to caregiver training, and clear open items. • Track costs around care plans against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in San Antonio. • We reply to every applicant.
