Accountant - revenue reconciliation (San Antonio, TX)

Lumen Field Press is a printer and publisher in San Antonio serving local and national clients. We are hiring an Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in San Antonio. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around print quotes against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to press runs, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with press runs. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in San Antonio, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
