Accountant - revenue reconciliation (San Antonio, TX)

Stonegate Ashton Telecom is a telecommunications provider in San Antonio focused on reliable home and business connections, and we need an Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. You would join a small organisation of about 110 people based in San Antonio. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around billing accounts against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with outage reports. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in San Antonio, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
