Accountant - revenue reconciliation (San Antonio, TX)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Vale Community Partners Group and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be revenue reconciliation. Flexibility and kindness are expected. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around food distribution against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Experience with client intake. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in San Antonio. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
