Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Salt Lake City, UT)

Clearpath Lakeside Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Salt Lake City. We are hiring an Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. You would join a small organisation of about 69 people based in Salt Lake City. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with proof of delivery. • Familiarity with audit requirements.
