Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Sacramento, CA)

Lumen Keystone Inspection Services is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for field inspections, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 829 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around client sites against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
