Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Sacramento, CA)

Clearpath Harbor Inspection Services is an inspection company in Sacramento with field technicians and lab staff. We are hiring an Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. You would join a small organisation of about 39 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around test reports against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with scheduling. • A degree or certificate in accounting.
