Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Sacramento, CA)

Foxglove Junction Medical designs and makes medical devices in Sacramento. We are hiring an Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around regulatory submissions against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with device records. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Sacramento, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
