Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Sacramento, CA)

Nova Harbor Telecom Partners is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for field visits, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Technicians and office staff share information daily. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to field visits, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with field visits. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
