Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Sacramento, CA)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Keystone Farms Group and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be revenue reconciliation. You would join a small organisation of about 29 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Track costs around seasonal crews against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to cold storage, and clear open items. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with cold storage. • Familiarity with audit requirements.
