Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Sacramento, CA)

Silverline Rowan Freight is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for proof of delivery, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We reward reliability. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to proof of delivery, and clear open items. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around customer tracking against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Sacramento. • We reply to every applicant.
