Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Richmond, VA)

Stonegate Umber Hospitality Group is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for guest bookings, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We work weekends and holidays and we make it fun. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to guest bookings, and clear open items. • Track costs around reviews and feedback against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Richmond, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
