Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Richmond, VA)

Westbrook Haven Auto Group serves drivers and dealerships across the Richmond region, and we need an Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. Technicians are respected and trained. What you will do • Track costs around customer estimates against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with vehicle inspections. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Richmond, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
