Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Reno, NV)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Thistle Medical Group and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be revenue reconciliation. You would join a small organisation of about 163 people based in Reno. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to device records, and clear open items. • Track costs around production lots against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with device records. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Reno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
