Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Reno, NV)

Rivermark Rook Manufacturing Partners is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for production lines, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 281 people based in Reno. What you will do • Track costs around scrap and rework against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to production lines, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Experience with production lines. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Reno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
