Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Reno, NV)

Redstone Clear Freight Group moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Reno, and we need an Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to dock schedules, and clear open items. • Track costs around claims against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Experience with dock schedules. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Reno. • We reply to every applicant.
