Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Reno, NV)

Bluepeak Mill Care Services supports families and individuals in Reno with personal care and coordination, and we need an Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. You would join a small organisation of about 42 people based in Reno. What you will do • Track costs around client records against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to visit scheduling, and clear open items. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with visit scheduling. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Reno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
