Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Wren Foods and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be revenue reconciliation. You would join a small organisation of about 191 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around cold storage against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to ingredient orders, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with ingredient orders. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Minneapolis. • We reply to every applicant.
