Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Greenridge Yarrow Telecom Group is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for customer tickets, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 129 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to customer tickets, and clear open items. • Track costs around billing accounts against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with customer tickets. • Familiarity with audit requirements.
