Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Cedar Clear Foods is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for ingredient orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 93 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around sanitation schedules against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to ingredient orders, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with ingredient orders. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Minneapolis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
