Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Amberfield Ivory Inspection Services Associates is an inspection company in Atlanta with field technicians and lab staff. We are hiring an Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. You would join a large organisation of about 444 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to test reports, and clear open items. • Track costs around scheduling against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Atlanta. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
