Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Bright Harbor Telecom is a telecommunications provider in Milwaukee focused on reliable home and business connections, and we need an Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around customer tickets against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with service installations. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Milwaukee. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
