Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Highbridge Vale Pharma develops and makes medicines in Birmingham. We are hiring an Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. We work to strict standards and value careful documentation. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around release testing against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to quality documentation, and clear open items. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with quality documentation. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Birmingham. • We reply to every applicant.
