Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Cedar Willow Construction is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for subcontractor invoices, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Site safety is non-negotiable. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to subcontractor invoices, and clear open items. • Track costs around change orders against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with subcontractor invoices. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Tulsa. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
